Charlavail (shar-luh-vale)

A blog I came across last night is run by a young woman who describes herself as being “shy and eccentric”.

Her name is Charlavail.

Charlavail,

that’s one of the most original names I’ve heard for a long time. I love the name! I could say it all day, Charrr-laaa-vailll.

She wishes to open a bakery, and has illustrated herself here

Charlavail also has a very unique style of art. It’s kind of fun, and quirky! The woodland theme is very cute :)

Here’s a photo of Charlavail with Hayley Williams (both of which are being photobombed by a frowning man behind them). Taken via Instagram.

Recently, I’ve had an obsession with the Disney movie, ‘Princess and the Frog’. I believe that is because her name, like mine, is also Tiana! Apart from that, I really love the film :) The film’s setting – New Orleans – is brought to life beautifully, the characters are all relatable and lovable. I’ve watched it everyday for over a week now (sometimes twice a day)! I’m glad my brother enjoys the film also – no fighting over who-watches-what on TV!

The artist goes by the username alicexz on deviantART.com . This work of hers is part of a 365 day challenge, in which she sketches and uploads an original drawing every day for a year! Her art is incredible, and she has a great style. Another famous piece that I discovered was hers is titled House Brawl, and features the mascots of the Hogwarts houses having a .. brawl. Well, Gryffindor and Slytherin -

This image is very popular on Tumblr (home to Potterheads and Procrastinators) and this design was also the winner of the 2010 $20,000 People’s Choice: Design of the Year! The shirt is available for purchase on the Threadless store :)

Alice’s gallery includes a lot of Disney, and Harry Potter inspired art, such as portraits of Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley -

The Royal Wedding was amazing last night! Seeing the crowds cheering for their future King and Queen was inspiring – and there were also a few funny moments during the ceremony! Kate looked stunning, and I’m not sure whether the [current] Queen was too impressed with Prince Harry’s bursts of laughter :)

I love this series of photos with Prince Harry starting to laugh!
